I have just had the most fantastic and inspiring visit to the Southwark Muslim Women’s Association. I was so impressed at the work which is done there to empower women through education. There was so much learning going on from basic English to ICT to how to run a business. Everyone in Southwark should be able to reach their full potential and I was delighted to see how much this organisation help and encourage local residents to do so.

I do hope that they will keep up the excellent work and I, as Leader of the Southwark Liberal Democrat council group, will certainly do all that I can to help and support them.
